Always happy to be back at the track

Always happy to be back at the track

I am sitting here in Singapore getting ready to head back to the track for race day. Last night’s qualifying was exciting until one of the Brawn cars crashed, bringing out the red flag and ending Vettel’s chances of taking pole away from Hamilton. Even so, it may have been for nothing as Hamilton looks very fast here. He’s fueled heavier than than the rest of the front runners and still managed to clock the best time.  That being said, I still give Vettel a decent chance of getting ahead into the first corner.

Last night we headed out to meet a friend for dinner and some shopping around Taipei 101. The weather has finally changed and we are back to wearing coats, a nice feeling after living through the 100 degree humid summers.

It’s impossible to walk anywhere within 10 miles Taipei 101 and not take a picture. The hardest part about it is trying to put things into perspective since it’s so big.

Around 101 are several shopping malls. This one is called New York, New York and has the appropriate decorations.

New York, New York at night. You’ll find Starbucks, Cold Stone Creamery, theaters and restaurants inside.

Looks like United Colors of Benetton to me.
