It never ceases to amaze me how much stuff you can add to your scooter.  This guy appears to be a one man cleaning company.

Here’s a short video I put together from Shi Men Ding. This area is also known as the “Theater District” and isn’t too far from the Taipei Main Station. Music: Secret World by Peter Gabriel. Turn up the volume, sit back and enjoy a little bit of Taipei.

Not too far from home is one of many local produce markets that sell fruits, vegetables, meats and fish.  Prices are much better than what you’d pay in the grocery stores, and it’s a fun experience as well.

There are half a dozen of these little porduce street within a few minutes walk from home.

Picnic at the beach

Soooo glad it’s Friday.

Taiwan hasn’t yet unleashed it’s suffocating humidity and we’re thankful for that.  The cool weather has actually stretched into May and every cool day now is a gift.  To take advantage of this perfect weather we headed out to the north coast with friends for an early evening picnic and sunset.  It’s was the perfect end to a long week and a great start to the weekend.
